Welcome, Twitter visitor! If you enjoy this post, don't hesitate to retweet!

Retweeting has become the most popular twitter feature. The origin of it is unknown to me but not its’ popularity and usage among twitter fans. Recently a Retweet application was introduced that made Retweeting a lot more useful. The application is ReTweetize.com and it’s here that Retweeting awards you points for a message you Retweet.

Let’s see ReTweetize in detail -

Sign in on ReTweetize.com and retweet a message. That will fetch you some points, which you can use to get your messages retweeted (as in make someone retweet a message in exchange of the points.  Business through reciprocation, it is as simple as that.

Well, now twitter didn’t want to be left behind and so is coming out with its own Retweet application. As of now only a certain user are given the power to use twitter’s Retweet application. Very soon the application will be activated for all twitter users and one can see the names of all who have Retweeted a particular message.

But this application will have certain tweaks and may be a little different procedure than how the current Retweet is done.

What The twitter Retweet Application Won’t Have? :

·    Users will not be allowed to edit the once Retweeted message. (You can cancel it though).
·    Most twitter (like Echofon) clients will not feature this application.
But people are hoping with time these issues will be solved.  Hopefully it does.

Well, its only after the twitter Retweet application goes that we would know which one is a better option to use – the regular practice of typing out a Retweet or the new twitter introduced method? If you ask me, I would go with ReTweetize.com. And why not? After all, I would be given something for Retweeting a message, and that something I can use to make others Retweet my message. Will that not be profitable?
